Albert Freddie Garcia-Martinez – Age 20 a resident of Velarde passed away on Sunday, October 23rd, 2005 unexpectedly. Albert was born on August 29th, 1985 to Christina Garcia and Freddie Martinez. He was preceded in death by his uncles: Raymond Garcia in 1999 and Richie Garcia in 1991; and paternal grandparents: Rose and Vidal Martinez. He was a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his mother, Christina Garcia and father, Freddie Martinez both of Velarde; his twin brother, Dalbert Freddie Garcia-Martinez of Velarde; sister, Rose Martinez and brother-in-law, Joe Martinez of Velarde; maternal grandparents: Richard and Connie Garcia of Velarde; aunts: Marcella and companion Mario of Velarde, Lavern Martinez of Tierra Amarilla and Valerie Martinez; uncles: Juanito Garcia and wife Olivia, J.J. Garcia and wife Andrea and Steven and Matthew Martinez; cousins: Cruzita Romero and husband Omar, Sabrina, Sebastian, Britany, Rayna, Jaymond, Jayden, Angel, Martina and Jair Garcia; great uncles and aunts: Joe and Melita Valdez and Raymond and Helen Garcia; a very close and special nephew, Domonic Martinez; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 26th, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Velarde with the following as pallbearers: Juanito and J.J. Garcia, Joe Martinez, Sebastian and Omar Garcia, Joey Valdez, Bobby Herrera and Dale Valdez. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Dominic Martinez, Jair Garcia and all of his friends.
