Biography

Andreita M. Romero, 93, of Llano Quemado passed away on October 27, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Octaviano Romero, daughter, Christine M. Romero, son, Enrique Romero, parents, Enrique and Cirilia Mondragon, daughter in law, Betty Romero, grandchildren, Nadine Romero and Susan Romero. She is survived by her children, Bernie Romero (Gloria), Loyola Aguirre (Salvador), Vivian Romero, Lorraine Aguirre (William), Phillip Romero (Aline) and Diana Struck (Nick), David Romero (Grace), daughter in law, Rosalie Romero, special grandchildren, Krystle Struck, Christine Romero (William) and Andy Romero (Alice), 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary was recited on Thursday, November 02, 2017 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was held on Friday, November 03, 2017 at San Francisco de Asis Church. Interment was held at the New Llano Quemado Cemetery.

My condolences and prayers to all the Romero family. May Andreita aka: (Grandma Tita) as I knew her, rest in eternal peace. I considered Grandma Tita like a Grandama to me since Her late daughter Christine was married into my family. I'll never forget her great hospitality. Every time I would go to her house, she always offered me something to eat which were the great pinto beans (frijolitos) she cooked. She always had a hot pot of frijolitos on the stove. She will greatly be missed.
