Dear mom, I find myself writing to you once again here. Your oldest son, Robert is very ill. His leg was amputated a few months ago. He has fought and tried to recover real hard. Today is an ICU at holy Cross. With a very bad urinary tract, infection and pneumonia. I have a foreboding feeling. I don’t like it. I don’t think he will be here on this earth much longer.
First, it was Benny. Robert is 84 now. Life has been very difficult for him. But we have all had our own Crosses to BEAR. I am like your mom, I am a survivor. I’m pretty sure people don’t even read this tribute but it’s between you and I and GOD. Lilacs for you! I love you mama.

Dear Mom, I guess I will continue to write down some of my thoughts here since this book is still open.... So many changes have taken place in my life, I don't know if you would be happy or sad: but I know you would say do what you feel is best. That is what I did! I miss you so verrry much! But I am glad you have no more pain or suffering. I was given the crucifix at your funeral mass and I know you would have wanted it that way too! See you some day my beautiful momma!

Happy to see this still online so just from my heart: Mama I look at your picture every single day. I say "Hi mom" and fill the picture in on what is going on with me- since you are no longer on earth to listen on the other line. I feel good writing this down but I would feel so much better if I could hug you tight... you know how you used to squeeze me.
I will see you again some day where all we will share will be joy. I miss you! DeLayne

I just found out about this guestbook and I am writing as part of my grieving process.
Mama, I love you and I weep for you because I miss you so much! Yet I know you are free from the cares of this world. I will see you again some day. If any of my brothers or sisters should see this entry, know that I love you all too. We have lost our nucleus!
