Beatrice Gloria Rodriguez

Beatrice Gloria Rodriguez, 66 a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, NM, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018. Beatrice was born on October 8,1951. She is predeceased by her mother, Maria Rodriguez and her father, Cipriano Rodriguez. She is survived by her eight siblings, Isabel Vigil, Ernest Benavidez, Rick Benavides, Christine Gonzales (Husband Edward), Eva Sanchez (Husband Mike), David Rodriguez (Wife Debra), Andrew Rodriguez (Wife Leslie), and Ramona Gomez (Husband Joe).
She was married to her loving husband of 47 years, Eloy Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband and beloved sons, Carlos Rodriguez (Wife Serena), Ray Rodriguez (Wife Cynthia), and Jared Rodriguez. Beatrice leaves behind seven grandchildren, Hilary, Aleah, Ashley, Jonathan, Zell, Elise, and Everly. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Beatrice will always be remembered for her ability to bring a room full of people to a roaring laughter with her story telling. Her food would bring comfort in the darkest times and her positive spirit and loving words would make anyone believe they could do whatever they set their minds to. Above all, Beatrice loved her family. Beatrice’s faith in her husband, children, and grandchildren never wavered. No matter what was happening in her life, she always found a way to take care of those closest to her heart. She was a light in our lives and will always be a star in the dark. She will be dearly missed and always loved.
Memorial services for Beatrice Rodriguez will be held at Rivera Family Funeral Home located at 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505 on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a gathering of friends and family located at the VFW307 Montezuma Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87501. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Rodriguez family to help cover funeral expenses.
