Betty Delgado Bustos

Betty Delgado Bustos – Age 77 born and raised in San Pedro passed away on Monday, June 27, 2005 from a battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abran Bustos Jr.; father and mother: Eduardo and Josie Delgado; sister, Agnes Gonzales; father and mother-in-law: Abran and Rafela Bustos. Mrs. Bustos was born on September 16, 1927 to Eduardo S. and Josie Delgado, she married Abran Bustos Jr. on December 27, 1951 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. She was a business manager for the Mesa Vista and Española Schools. She was a member of the Santa Cruz Senior Citizens and was a longtime bowler. She is survived by her son, Phillip Bustos and wife Joan of Albuquerque; daughter, Christine "Teeney" Bustos of the home; grandson, Matthew Bustos of Albuquerque; granddaughters: Aimee and Lisa Bustos of Albuquerque; brother, Edward Delgado and wife Liria of San Pedro; sisters-in-law: Eliza Thompson and husband Robert of Santa Cruz and Anita and Virginia Arakelian of Fresno, CA; special nieces: Vicki Bickel and husband Jim of Las Cruces and JoAnne Gonzales and husband Deric Stucker of Barcelona, Spain; special great-nephew, Jeffrey Bickel; other special nieces and nephews: Danny, Johnny Delgado, Maria Mantelli, Martha Perraglio, Gina Martinez, Teresa and Bernadette Gallegos, Larry and Dennis Gallegos, Don, Abran, David and Robert Bustos, Paulette Dupree, Bryan and Peter Arakelian and Cathy Arakelian; and also many godchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. the same day. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
