Biography

Burford R. Tunnell, 98, of Taos and formerly of Lubbock, Texas passed away on July 11, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, of 62 years, Cora Lucile Tunnell who passed away in 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn Coggin and son, Burford Rutledge Tunnell, II, grandchildren, Katharine Vuille, Bianca Tunnell, David Tunnell and Dorothy Tunnell.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2 PM at the Taos Living Center Chapel.

Words cannot express the loss we feel for a loved one, no matter how far. So very sorry to hear of Daddy Burfs' passing. Bianca was told and cannot reply. She remembers her grandparents. I have said prayers for his soul. Surely, he is driving a Ford Mustang in heaven. Love to you all.
