Christine Jane Kennedy

CHRISTINE JANE KENNEDY (“Jane”), age 87, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Friday, August 17th, 2018.
Jane was born on July 19th, 1931 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Marie Christine Quarry and Clinton Hollier Strickland (“Pete”).
She will always be remembered for actively participating in her church community, using her knitting skills to help those in need, and being spunky and true to herself. She loved her dog companions, as well as being outside, enjoying the fresh air and bird song. She was a dedicated mother who raised 8 independent-minded and bad-ass children.
Jane is survived by 6 daughters (Suzanne, Mary Jo, Martha, Maureen, Cathy, and Barbara), 2 sons (Michael and Mark), 8 grandchildren (Aliya, Deniz, Ryan, Alix, Patrick, Ian, Gaelen, and Joel), and her 2 brothers (Jim and David). She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Kennedy, her grandson Hayden Kennedy, her sisters Ann and Mary, her brother Peter, and her dog Sammy.
A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 24th at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church in Santa Fe, followed by a reception.
