Clara R. Martinez

Clara R. Martinez 94 of Santa Fe left peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and her great grandchildren they were the loves of her life, she married Joe F. Martinez in 1952, they departed on his passing in 1979, she was a devoted Catholic. She was born in Dixon, New Mexico to Sofia and Frank Rendon on December 27, 1922.
She is preceeded in death by Husband Joe F. Martinez
Sisters Annie Archuleta, Frances Jefferson, Louise Vigil,
Brothers Eugene Rendon, Peter Rendon.
Special Niece Sofie Ann and granddaughter Vanessa Martinez.
She is survived by son Michael Martinez (Fonda), daughter Lucille Ortega, brother Tony Rendon, grandsons Lenny Quintana (Rachael), Leon Ortega (Marika), granddaughters Noreen Segura (Patrick) Monique Ortega (Fabian), great grandchildren Andrew, Vanity, Layla, Cruz, Jadeyn, and Luna.
Services will be held
Visitation Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 6:00pm Kiva Chapel
Rosary Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 7:00pm Kiva Chapel
Mass of a Christian burial will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00am at the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis with interment to follow at 11:15am at Santa Fe National Cemetery
Pallbearers include Lenny and Andrew Quintana, Leon Ortega, Patrick, Jadeyn and Fabian Segura.
