Biography


Clydelle Lowry 90, resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on April 19, 2019 due to a stroke. She was born in Galveston, TX on February 26, 1929 to Marybelle Cummings and Clyde Cummings.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Gaston Neil Lowry, sister; Denise Lowry, brother-in-law; L.B Lowry, sister; Kathrine Elrod and parents; Marybelle and Clyde Cummings.
She is survived by niece; Kathy and Gordon Box from Albuquerque, NM, niece; Janice and Tom Gaither from Lubbock, TX, nephew; David Lowry and Cary Williams from Edmond, OK and niece Brenda French from Garland, TX.
Clydelle worked at Los Alamos Labs during the 1960’s as a designer in the weapons department. She retired in 1974. Clydelle was a wonderful artist and painted pictures that were hung in the Library in town.
She lived in New Mexico, her and Neil used to go hiking in the mountains and camped out. They hiked the Grand Canyon on one of their trips.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at the Kiva Chapel of Light located at 417 E Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505.
Interment will be on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
