Connie Ortiz

We lost our beloved Connie A. Ortiz on April 30, 2008 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Connie was born October 28, 1956. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and loved spending time with her large family. She is preceded in death by her parents Liberato and Dolores Archuleta, brother, Paul Archuleta, Sisters Adela A. Gonzales, Sadie Ortiz, brothers-in-law, Trinidad Ortiz, Jake Ortega, Dennis Stanley, and Melvin Griego, and niece Annette Gonzales. She is survived by her daughters , Erica Ortiz, and partner Lawrence Benavidez, Ashley Ortiz and partner Joel Ibarra, grandchildren, Aiyana and Sophia, sisters, Margaret and husband Henry Valdez, Valentina Griego, Cecilia Stanley, Nellie and husband Francisco Martinez, Diana Archuleta, Susie Archuleta and partner Phil Leyba, and brother Mike and wife Prescilla Archuleta. Her god-children Sabrina Valdez, Jose Montoya, Chris Quintana, Serena Wallace, Raysean Marchi her best and life time friend, Margie Gurule, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
A Rosary will be recited Monday May 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the
Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 6, 2008 also at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assi.
Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
