Consuelo "Peaches" Collins

CONSUELO “PEACHES’ COLLINS, born September 16, 1925, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, D. Gale Collins, D.D.S.; her parents, Josefita and Benjamin Alarid; and brothers, Rodolfo, Alfonso, and Isais “Ike” Alarid. Peaches is survived by her brother, Benjamin B. Alarid; sisters, Stella A. Moya, and Orlinda Roybal (Jake); niece, Diana Moya-Vigil (Ruben); great niece and nephew, Danielle and Ryan, many other nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Anita Alarid. Peaches has dedicated her life to the Carmelite Sisters and Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Her family expresses their deepest gratitude to her caregivers, Rachel, Elizabeth, Stephanie, and Kat.
A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 am Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Cristo Rey Parish Center.
