Words cannot expresss how sorry we were to hear of your loss. Coach, as my daughter and I knew him, was good to us. Kimmi was devastated at this news. I am grateful to you for believing in her and helping her to do well in softball. She followed your footsteps by becoming a Coach too. This is a great loss. Sympathies to the family.

Dearest Marcus, I'm so sorry to learn of your dads passing. I apologize I will not be able to make any of these arrangements. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers, may you find some peace knowing that your dad is in the arms of the Angels looking over you all.
To the Chavez family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Cruz was loved by many I'm sure you'll see the outpouring of love in the days to come. My all the wonderful memories be kept close to your hearts and ease your pain.

I admired Cruz as a teacher and coach and considered him a friend. He will be greatly missed by students passed and present and by many who knew him. Rest in Peace my friend

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
Coach, Colleague and Friend. It is hard to believe you are gone. The serenity prayer is the prayer that always reminds me of you and how you shared this. I remember seeing this prayer written under the bill of the baseball hats my boys wore. Teaching with you, collaborating for the good of the school. Buying t-shirts, snacks and supervising for state. Our little crew end of the year BBQ's. Laughing and making jokes, teaching summer school together, raising our kids together. The list goes on and on. Rest easy Coach I am thankful for the times we had together.
To the family my deepest and heartfelt condolences for the loss of your son, father, brother, friend and many many more titles. He was a great man and loved you all so very much. Your family will continue to be in our prayers now and always. God please wrap your arms around this loving family, give them comfort, ease their pain and give them peace. Amen
