Biography


DeAnne L. Martinez, age 39, of Santa Fe, earned her angel wings and flew to Heaven to be with her Lord on May 2, 2017, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandpa James Gonzales; Paternal grandparents Sixto and Kate Martinez; Paternal Auntie Jennie Martinez and many other beloved family members who passed before her.
She is survived by her beautiful, precious daughter Eliana Martinez; Parents Danny and Elizabeth Martinez; Sisters Lori (Jerry); Amanda and Wife Sierra; Adored niece Nevaeh and loving Maternal grandmother Minnie Gonzales. She is also survived by Paternal Uncles Benny (Louise), Albert (Maria), George, Victor (Helen), David (Patsy); Paternal Aunts Carol (Paul), Vern (Mark); Ruth, Dorothy, MaryAnn, Zelda (Simon), Rose (Joe), and many beloved cousins, and numerous other family members on her maternal side.
DeAnne was hilarious, loved to joke, was a great dancer, loved karaoke, fixing up her car and entering and attending car shows and cruising. She loved the color purple and butterflies. Most of all she loved being sarcastic, stubborn and hard headed.

DeAnne was previously employed by Ohkay Casino where she was an executive Casino Host.

Im' so sorry Liz & Danny. I met you thru my mom, Rosemary, who was a friend of Rosemary & Joe's. God bless you during this very difficult time. May God's peace abundantly hold you & strengthen you.
