Donna Vogel

Donna M. Vogel, age 70, left us suddenly on February 7, 2018. She will be forever remembered by her husband and soulmate, John, they celebrate 50 years together, and by their daughter Michelle and her husband, Clifton Tanabe and their children, who were the light of Donna's life, Siera, Ben and Justina. Donna, born in 1947 in Iowa, grew up on a farm with no running water. She was the oldest of 11 siblings. Her style, grace and zest for life will also be remembered by John's three Sisters and numerous extended family and dear friends. Donna was a dynamic woman of her time, pursuing careers as a Nurse, Therapist, and Corporate Executive. In 1990 she was called to use her talents to empower others. She served as Executive Director for several Non-profits for nearly 30 years to the end of her life. In 1999, she made New Mexico her home and found a deep sense of purpose in her relationship with and service to the Pueblos. Donna was a beautiful soul who leaves a legacy of helping and empowering others.
