Eliza M. Martinez, 90, of Arroyo Seco passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 18, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maximino Martinez, parents, Melquiares and Casimira Madrid, in-laws, Meliton and Brigida Martinez, brother and sisters, Casilda (Joselario), Remijio (Mary), Dora and Pat, granddaughter, Valerie Sanchez and grandson, Max Sanchez. She is survived by her daughters, Adrianna Medina (Michael), Violeta Sanchez (Luis), Ruth Vigil (Tony), Hilda Vigil (Anthony), Marla Velarde (Rudy), grandchildren, David Medina (Crystal), Anthony A. Vigil (Ami), Uvaldo Vigil, Shannon Quintana (Joe James), Monica Sanchez, Mario Vigil (Stephanie), Luis Jr. Sanchez (Dolores), Lisa Saltzman, Victoria Romo (David), Maria, great-grandchildren, Ariessa, Andres, Angeles, Indica, Isaiah, Josefina, Diego, Joel, Noah, Autumn, Hailey, Antonio, Gabriella, David, Jacob and Savannah, brothers and sisters, Eraclio Madrid (Marcia), Ramon, Arturo, Placida and a very close friend, Arturo Fernandez.

Rosary will be recited at 7 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Arroyo Seco. Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church with interment following at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos.
