Elvira P. Quintana

Elvira Priscilla Quintana was born on November 12, 1939 to the late Benjarmin and Josefita Trujillo Cardenas. She returned home to Our Lord on March 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Jose Maria and Alicia Quintana, siblings Ben Cardenas, Simonita Cardenas, Floverto Cardenas, Evilla Ortega, Henry Cardenas, Eloy Cardenas, Luis Cardenas, and Manuelita Pacheco. She was joined in marriage to her husband of 57 years, Bolivar Quintana, on September 30, 1961. Together they were blessed with four children Sandra Quintana, Priscilla Quintana, Eli Quintana (Jan) and David Quintana (Teresa). They gave their five grandchildren some of the greatest adventures, Melany Gallegos (Jason), Justin Quintana (Megan), Danielle Jaramillo (Gilberto), Felicity Martinez (Angel), Brittany Medina (Matt). She was a great grandmother to eight great grandchildren, Lilianna Jaramillo, Abigail Quintana, Gabriella Medina, Alexia Quintana, Ella Jaramillo, Elena Marie Medina, Juliette Medina and baby Eli Bolivar Quintana. She is survived by her sister in-laws Elisa Romero and Oclides Tenorio and brother in laws, Leroy Pacheco and Celestino Quintana (Clorinda), her God children, Anthony Garcia, Herbert Cardenas and Brian Duran along with many nieces and nephews who meant a great deal to her.

Rosaries will be recited on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church with interment to follow at the Los Cordovas Cemetery.
