My heart is broken to learn of my dearest friend Elyse's passing. One of the most beautiful rays of sunshine on earth. Even though we only saw or talked to each other once or twice a year, she always had and will have a special place in my heart. She was loved by many and was a true healer to many. I will miss our visits and am already missing her.
Love to all her family.

‘Everyone who met Elyse made a friend.’ How very true. Elyse & I met volunteering at the Interfaith Shelter. Her warmth, great big smile and kindness were so immediate. Later, we found out we were neighbors & met for an occasional walk. She told stories of growing up in Santa Fe, and how her dad would take her out fishing or camping, digging a little hole in the ground to make a fire to cook a pot of beans. Elyse was a treasure, with such a positive attitude and good sense of humor. I will always be grateful for her presence in my life. Deepest condolences to you as you celebrate her life.

Dear Frances, I am so sorry. I worked with you in the 70's (BLM - Docket Div.). You were such a proud mother & I knew your family by the beautiful conversations & loving descriptions you had for each one of them. God bless you & comfort you as you face the days ahead.
