Esteban Manuel Armando Jimenez

Esteban Jimenez, 72, of Santa Fe, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 from complications of an extended illness. He was born September 13, 1946 in Santa Fe, the son on Armando and Mary Romero Jimenez. He and Virginia Velarde were married on March 18, 1981 in Santa Fe. Passing on before him were his parents, Armando and Mary Jimenez; a brother, Albert Jimenez; and sister, Margie Jaramillo.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Jimenez; son, Steven G. Jimenez; daughters, Linda Ortiz (Eliseo), Rosenda Esparza (Joe), Angela Casados (Frank), and Amanda Rey. Also survived by his grandchildren, Elijah Jimenez, Joshua Topp, Jacqueline Esparza, Jacob Esparza, and Cheyenne Esparza; Sister, Irene Roybal (George); brothers, Anthony Jimenez (Tina), Eloy Jimenez, and David Jimenez; and many other family members and many friends.
He was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran, having served with the U.S. Army.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm. Interment with full military honors will follow at 3:00 pm Monday.
