Evangeline Montoya

Evangeline C. Montoya, 93 of El Prado passed away on May 10, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Montoya, daughter, Diana Baca, mother, Senaida Chavez, father, Benito Chavez, brothers, Gavino Chavez, Adelmo Chavez, sisters, Rafaelita Lujan, Mary DeLourdes Medina, Mary Lopez, and Dora Ortiz. She is survived by her sister Frances Espinoza, children, Georgiana Montoya, Albert Montoya (Mary), Tommy Montoya (Margaret), Gilbert Montoya (Sandra), Patricia Baca (Rudy), son in law, Manuel Baca, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am. Interment will take place immediately after services at the Dolores Cemetery in El Prado, New Mexico. A reception will be held following the interment at St. Joseph’s Hall next to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
