Floyd D. Borrego – Age 53 a resident of Alcalde passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2005. He was born on May 23, 1952 to Arabella and Arturo Borrego. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arminda and Apollonio Gallegos and Deluvina and Rafael Borrego; mother-in-law, Rose Gallegos and grandparents-in-law, Alex Sr. and Josephine Gallegos. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Borrego of Alcalde; his children: Eugenia and companion Jerome Salazar, and Nichole and Vicente Borrego all of Alcalde; 2 granddaughters: Savannah Sanchez and Samantha Borrego both of Alcalde; his parents: Arabella and Arturo Borrego of El Guique; brothers and sisters: Rosabell DeNoi of Albuquerque, Michael Borrego and wife Tina of El Guique, Gilbert Borrego of El Guique, MaryAnn Martinez and husband Mario of Belen and Ralph Borrego, Andrew Borrego, Raymond Borrego, Johnny Borrego, Pauline Borrego, Jacob Borrego and Michelle Borrego all of El Guique; very good friend, Michael Sanchez; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Rosaries will be recited on Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan Pueblo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 15, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan Pueblo. Interment will follow at the Alcalde Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Michael, Gilbert, Ralph, Andrew, Raymond, Johnny and Jacob Borrego and John Gallegos. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Alex Gallegos Sr., Perry Trujillo, Leonard Maestas, Kevin Silva, Isaac Medina Sr., Luie Quintana, Paul Roybal and Michael Sanchez.
