Biography

Fred E. Ortega, 71, of Questa passed away on July 05, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Eduardo and Rosaura Ortega, siblings Floyd, Johnny and Consuelo Ortega, nieces and nephews Frances Martinez, Paul Eugene Aguilar, Matthew Cisneros and Patsy Ortega, brothers in law Guy Martin, Jimmy Gallegos, Medardo Aguilar and Elivy Segura. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Maxine Ortega, children Rachel Aragon (Brian), Anthony Ortega (Charlene), and Annette Rael (Michael Jr.), grandchildren Briana Aragon (Kenneth), Deanna Aragon, Leanna Aragon, Isabelle Rael, Natalie Ortega, Joshua Ortega and Dedrick Rael, great grandchildren Kiara Arellano, Daniel Torres, Kayliana Aragon, Kaleb Medina and Kylie Medina, siblings Sadie Aguilar, Flora Martin, Jake Ortega (Pauline), Percilla Gallegos, Aurora Lovato, Alice Maez (Wilfred), Ruby Cisneros (Clyde), and Carmen Ortega, sister in law Roxanne Ortega, Aragon and Montoya family, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 09, 2018 at 7 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Questa. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Anthony Church with interment to follow at the San Pedro Cemetery.

So sorry about your loss. Mom & I always appreciate your genuine Love every time we met. She would always comment on how "sweet" you guys were. Death is never convenient, but he did not go thru the remainder of his life suffering. Someone shared this we us & I'll pass it on.
