Condolences to the Browns on the loss of Helen. She was a "classy" lady. We saw her a few months ago with Joe, Mark and his wife at Atriscos. We had not seen her in years. She reminded me of her "old" self when we were neighbors on Declovina. May she rest in peace. Marcella O. Gonzales

Joe, Doug, Lou, and all of the Brown family, we are sorry to learn of beautiful Helen’s passing. Earth’s loss, heaven’s gain. But we know because she placed her faith in Jesus Christ, she is in His presence and we will see her again.
Be comforted with wonderful memories and the promise of eternal life to those who have accepted God’# free gift of grace.
Helen was such a beautiful lady. She had a great personality and caring ways. We were blessed to know her.

Dear Mr. Brown and family, please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of our most beautiful “Mrs. Brown.”
I feel such a great sadness at the loss of my first mentor, but at the same time I know that she completed God's will in her lifetime for so many people. She was a very positive influence in the lives of many young girls during the time she was the director of the Santa Fe Girls Club. Mrs. Brown was my role model.
My sisters and I grew up at the Girls Club. As a young girl, through my teens and throughout college Mrs. Brown had a positive way of motivating and encouraging me. I had the honor of traveling to many places in the U.S. and Canada with Ms. Brown in conjunction with the Girls Club. She provided many opportunities to the members of the Girls Club. She encouraged creative activities that would empower girls to use their strengths and talents to develop their God-given abilities.
She was my karate partner for many years. She received her brown belt when I did. She was an exceptional woman, way ahead of her time and I admired her tremendously! I miss you Mrs. Brown; please save me a place in heaven.
Sincerely, Natalie Garcia Reyes- El Paso, Texas
