Jeanne L. Gladfelter

JEANNE L. GLADFELTER
March 25, 1934 – September 26, 2018
Jeanne was born in Chicopee, MA. She married Ralph Gladfelter in 1954 and was a devoted wife for 61 years until his death. She spent most of her life raising her five children in MA and then in NM. Jeanne was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother her entire life. After raising her children she worked as a substitute teacher with Santa Fe Public Schools for many years. Jeanne was a woman of deep faith and loved God with all of her heart. She served as a lector at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Jeanne had a giving heart and often blessed those in need throughout her life. Her ultimate goal at end of her earthly journey was to hear the gentle whisper from Christ Jesus, “My loyal and faithful servant, job well done. Come into my kingdom.”
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Flora Farley, sons Ralph J. and Jeffrey R. Gladfelter, grandson Kevin A. Gladfelter, and husband Ralph Gladfelter Jr.
She is survived by son Alan Gladfelter (Cynthia), grandchildren Tristan and Cierra Gladfelter, daughters Heather Gladfelter and Sharon Werick (Patrick) and grandchildren Patrick and Seth Werick.
A mass will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
