On Behalf of CHARLIE KENNEDY:

First of all, we would like to give the entire Lynch family our condolences for the unfortunate loss of Jerry.

I personally think Jerry was the type of Man (every Mom and Dad!) would like their son to grow up and become. I watched Jerry blossom over the 50+ years in which we were associated.

From a Happy-Go-Lucky buddy of mine that which I met in Elementary School who loved and adored his Mom Celica and Dad Eddie, his brothers, Little Eddie, Chris and last but not forgotten very special baby sister, Brenda. As well as his many uncles, aunts, and cousins, in which over the years, I've had the pleasure of meeting most of them.

After High School, we both sought employment, through the IBEW. You know what we had found out it was pretty lucrative. So I and another friend of ours, Randy Phillips, followed. So for a few years, we followed our employment throughout the state, known to our brothers as Tramping, Signing the book as Ground Men or "Grunts."

Well to make a short story long, we all ended up in Los Alamos working for the Zia Company, for Eddie Lynch, foreman of the Line shop, and Ruben Salazar, the superintendent. During several years that followed, we watched as the Line shop grew, having many IBEW brothers come through and work with us. We have several of them here to pay their respects, in which we must commend them. Some came from some distances to be here today. I would like to thank them.

We all watched as Jerry became a Loving husband to Mary Ann, who also joined in employment at LANL.

And a great father to Jonathan.

Jerry had the ability to make most people, after they shortly met with him, feel comfortable and responsive therefore he forged solid relationships with so many in which he had touched their lives. He worked hard & endlessly as a job steward on several IBEW job sites in NM, and throughout his career later became a Bull steward at Los Alamos National labs. And was eventually asked to become an Assistant Business Agent in ABQ, NM.

He worked hard at building trust & understanding between employers as well as the IBEW employees. While working on the several contract negotiations as well as maintaining the peace when disgruntle issues had arisen.

With his intuitive insight.

He tried to be a friend to all in using his (Wisdom, Honesty, Integrity and the ability of giving people the benefit of the doubt).

He became very adept in dealing with Human Resources, in which many of the IBEW brothers and sisters will still agree.

His soul consisted of God's-Shared.

Wisdom, Understanding, Joy, with Wit and Humor with a wee bit of Irish, which in passing, his family, many friends, and I will sorely miss.

I thank the Lord for the many years of Jerry's friendship, and the life and times that we were able to share. I'm sure there are many others that have this very same sentiment.

Jerry in your death please be assured that you won't be forgotten, as you pass through & into the Lord's realm.

May you enjoy flying with the Lord's angels, as well as you walked on God's good Earth with endearing Love for your family, friends, Brothers and Sisters.

May God Bless You!

~Charlie Kennedy
