Jerry Victor Torres

Jerry V. Torres, 30, born on January 26th, 1987 a resident of Cordova, NM passed away Saturday, December 16th, 2017 unexpectedly at the Espanola Hospital. Jerry was a kind and caring person with a big heart. Jerry was always known for his personality, joking around, and giving a helping hand when anyone needed it, and well known for his laugh. His laugh was one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

Jerry Torres was preceded in death by his grandfather Joe Torres, grandfather and grandmother Willie and Mary Sanchez residents of Espanola, NM. He was also preceded in death by his older brother Paul Torres Jr that he loved and cherished everyday.

Jerry is survived by his Parents Paul Sr. and Dolly Torres of Cordova NM; Youngest sister Aquracina and her
husband Rudolpho Gallegos; Grandparents Stella F.Torres. His Children; Daughter Gianni Freedom Torres from Las Vegas, NM who he loved and cherished with all his heart more than words could ever say. His daughter was his heart and soul. Jerry would always say “All I would want is to be apart of my daughters life” Along with his Son Christian. He is also survived by several Aunts; Prescilla Barclay, Rhoda Sanchez, Elaine Sanchez, Noella Guerrero, Agnes Hodas, several Uncles; Gilbert (Rosmary) Vialpando, Ivan (Jacqueline) Sanchez, Leonard (Eluvina) Sanchez, Eli Sanchez, Jodi (Cindy) Torres.

A Rosary will be held at Rivera Family Funeral Home in the Big Chapel on Saturday, December the 30th at 8:30 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Cordova. Burial will follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Cordova.

Serving the family as Pallbearers; and Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Sanchez,Jesse War, Esli Dominguez, Adam Dominguez, Randy Romero, Davy Lopez, and Honorary Pallbearer; Brother In-Law Rudolpho Gallegos.
