Oh, Elaine, I just found out about Johnny, and am so very sad for you.
You both were very smart, kind, and talented. Since Taos High when I knew you, you were two people who belonged together for a lifetime. I’m glad you had that together, and that you have a wonderful family to sustain you now in your sadness and loss.

Elaine, I’m so sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. I was out of town so I just read about it. Johnny will be remembered as one of our heroes in our community who worked his way up as a local, eventually owning his own restaurant. He was very good to our family and will be dearly missed! God bless you with strength in your time of grief.

Elaine, This is Sandy Velarde, Carson I was so sorry to hear about Johnny's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Elaine, I have wonderful memories of you and Johnny and my sister Yolie in high school. (Fun Times) I do remember how much you both loved each other. and God kept you both together all these years. I have many memories of when i worked for him at the Brett House and Casa Cordova as a hs kid. He will be missed dearly and i will always cherish my friendship with him. Johnny and I go back since elementary school and high school. He was a very good friend that I appreciated. I have been out of Des Montes almost 50 yrs and lost contact with him but I still have very fond memories of him. Eliane and the rest of the family God is so good that he will take care of you!
