I knew Katie from our teenage years, when we met at Irene Pacheco's house. We became friends and she will always very special to me. May all of her family take comfort in knowing that she's in peace with our Lord.

I am sorry for the loss, my prayers go out to family and friends. I met her as a student at UNM, I have to say that she was one of the most helpful and cheerful persons that helped me in getting started in college and getting through some difficult times. For that I thank her. God Bless.

I was so sad to hear of Katie's passing. She was always such a bright light whenever she was in the room. I have such fond memories of being with her when Brian and Eric would play with Clay and Rebekah. She was a sister in the Lord and I know she is at peace. My prayers are with the family, particularly Brian and Eric because I know they will miss the bright light their mother was to them. May the peace and grace of God be with all of you.

I was sad to hear Katie passed away on Sunday. She was a great person and friend. She always had a smile on her face and loved to laugh. I spent many a day on the softball fields with her and we both raised our sons on the field!! No matter what the trial whether it was mine or hers, she always had a smile and wise words!! I thank God she was in my life and will miss her. I will think of her often especially when I'm on or near a softball field:):) I will toast to her life and the strength she had throughout all her trials and tribulations. She is now at peace and the memories I have of Katie will be cherished!! God bless you, Brian, Eric and Chris with the strength that Katie possessed to go on with life no matter what!! Peace....

I was pleasantly surprised by Katie's visit on September 7th. I thank God I had the opportunity to see her when she was feeling well. She and Chris wanted to eat some Cajun food and we did that. Diana is my best friend and Katie's passing is like losing my own sister. Eppie, Diana, Eric, Brian, and Chris are all in my prayers. I'm going to miss Katie very much.
