Lola R. Sanchez

Lola R. Sanchez, 56, of Taos passed away sadly on April 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Lola was born to Joe M Rivera and Mary Esquibel in 1962. She was raised in Taos, NM with 1 sister and 2 brothers. Lola enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her mother and her husband, Fidencio Sanchez. Lola and Fidencio were married in June of 1982. Together they had 2 children, Harold and Stephanie Sanchez. Lola begin going to the casino, especially when Fidencio started to work there. She also loved to go dancing and going to the mountains for firewood with her husband. She enjoyed fishing and eating the fish even more. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Rivera, and her sister Aurora Valdez. She is survived by her husband, Fidencio Sanchez, son, Harold Sanchez (Sara), daughter, Stephanie Sanchez, brothers, Joe M Rivera (Bertha) and Johnny Rivera (Senaida), grandchildren, Dominic, Adrian, Mila, Alyssa and Jacob, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 6 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
