Louenda "Linda" Chance – Age 83 a resident of Los Alamos passed away on Friday, September 30th, 2005 at the Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Cornersville, Tennessee on January 5th, 1922. Louenda was a resident of Los Alamos for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Chance of Los Alamos; daughter, Beverly Duncan and husband Kenny Duncan of Los Alamos; son, Randy Chance and wife Julie Chance of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Tyler Duncan, Megan Duncan, Chelsea Chance, Taylor Chance and Kimberly Chance; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church in Los Alamos. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The Rivera Family of Block-Salazar Mortuary is providing the family of Louenda "Linda" Chance with care and professional services. Linda was a caring and kind person. I met her several years ago through my mother, Donna who passed away in 2001. The two of them shared a love of animals and of the teachings of the Bible.

I look forward to a time when the sayings found in Revelation 21:3,4 will be true. Death, pain, and tears will be done away with.

My thoughts are with the Chance Family during these difficult times.
