Lucy C. Romero

Lucy C. Romero, 89 – A resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away December 10, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Santa Fe, NM to Monico Castellano and Teodorita Barela on December 31, 1928. She was married to Benny Romero for 30 + years. Mrs. Romero is preceded in death by her parents: Monico and Teodorita Castellano; sons: Patrick and Tommy Lucero; grandson, David Paul Lucero; 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Benny Romero; daughters, Florinda Ruiz (Sergio), Lorraine Romero (Patrick); sons: David Lucero (Joann) and Raymond Lucero. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Romero and Lorinda Romero; serving as honorary pallbearers will be all her children and grandchildren who all hold a special place in her heart.
