Maria A. Garcia

Maria A. Garcia, 83 – a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Garcia; parents: Jacob and Margarita Jaramillo. She is survived by her one sister, Priscilla of Clearlake, California also surviving our mother are five sons and two daughters: Gerald and Darien, Evelyn and David, Rick, Ron and Annette, Steve and Dorothy; she also raised Ernest Garcia of Phoenix and Kathy Archuleta. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on April 10, 1935. She was united in marriage to Ernest C. Garcia for the last 58 years. Her hobbies were embroidery, pillow cases, making blankets, fishing and she loved looking at her roses growing outside. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services as she wished we will gather at the San Jose Cemetery on October 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangement are under the care of Rivera Family Funeral Home and Cremations.
