Marie P. Rodriguez

Marie Pacheco Rodriguez, age 90, died peacefully at home on February 21, 2018. Beloved Marie was born on December 31, 1927 in Cimarron, NM to Juan and Amalia Pacheco. She married Deacon Juan Miguel Rodriguez on December 26, 1959 in Maxwell, NM. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings and their spouses.
Marie is survived by her husband, Juan; her children Libby (Edward) Gonzales, Deacon Maurice (Theresa) Rodriguez, Euphrasia (Christopher) Romero, and Juan Rodriguez, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Anthony (Victoria) Rodriguez, beloved great granddaughter, Teagan Marie Rodriguez, Carlos (Kate) Rodriguez, Alisa (Casey) Hehir, Jacob Romero, and Marcos Gonzales.
Marie was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and tia. She had a great and cherished devotion to the holy rosary and faithfully participated with Children of Mary at Santa Maria del la Paz Catholic Church.
Marie’s family sincerely thanks Dr. Gerzain Chavez and PMS Hospice - especially Dr. David Gonzales, Rachel, Rose, and Jennifer for their warm and friendly care. Special and loving appreciation to Father Daniel Balizan, Father Michael Niemczak, Father James Sanchez, Father Adam Ortega y Ortiz, Father Mark Granito, and Father Michael DePalma for providing prayer and sacraments over the last four months.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 7:00pm at Santa Maria De La paz Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 10:00am at Santa Maria De La Paz Catholic Church.
Interment will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:30am at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Seminarian Endowment and mailed to Archdiocese of Santa Fe, 4000 St. Joseph’s Place NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
