Marvin Lee Martinez

Marvin Lee Martinez – Age 26 a resident of Española passed away on Thursday, December 8th, 2005. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pantaleon Herrera and aunt, Linda Herrera. Marvin liked to go fishing and camping. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother, Edna Herrera of Truchas; brother, Anthony Martinez of Española; daughter, Monique Martinez of Española; father, Octavio Martinez of Grants; sister, Jolene Martinez of Grants; 2 brothers: Phillip and Johnny Martinez both of Grants; grandmother, Sabinita Herrera of Truchas; special nephew, Pat Herrera of Truchas; 2 nephews: Roel and Damien Martinez both of Grants; 3 nieces: Veronica, Shyleen and Carlyn Martinez all of Grants; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. A second rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 11, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Truchas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Truchas Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Roel and Ronnie Martinez, Jimmy Herrera, Anthony, Phillip and Johnny Martinez and Tony Herrera.
