Modesto Romero

Modesto Romero passed away February 15, 2006 at the Taos Living Center. He was born in Vadito, New Mexico on August 4, 1925 to Filomena Barela Martinez and Epimenio Romero.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings. He is survived by sister, Carolina Vijil, Salt Lake City, UT nieces and nephews, Priscilla Visarraga, Taos, Naomi Aguilar, El Valle, Mary Visarraga, Truth or Consequences, Trinidad Medina, Vadito, Helen Visarraga, Viviana Romero, Frank Visarraga, Olympia, WA, Alfredo Visarraga, Denver, CO, Floyd Visarraga, Layton, Utah and Mallina (Sabina) Visarraga, Bacalar, Mexico, and more than 40 great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place. Funeral Mass will be held at San Antonio De Padua in Penasco on Friday, February 24th, 10:00 AM. Memorial Service is planned for July. Arrangements by Rivera-Hanlon Funeral Home.
