NELLIE CONCHETA PAPANIA-GARCIA Age 49 a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29th, 2006. She was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on June 15th, 1956 to the late Joseph Anthony and Callie M. Papania. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert (Bobbie Joe) Papania. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her children: Joe Paul Garcia, Jennifer Garcia and Leopoldo Garcia, Jr. all of Albuquerque; her sisters: Mary Ann Carmack of Gulfport, Mississippi and Joyce Papania of Whittier, California; niece, Cynthia Chaney of Biloxi, Mississippi; nephews: Larry D. Carmack, Jr. and Joseph D. Carmack, both of Gulfport, Mississippi., niece Jaime Sylvia of Whittier, California; grandchildren: Ashton Sykes, Olivia Garcia, Carlos Garcia, and Gabrielle Garcia all of Albuquerque; father of her children, Leopoldo Garcia, Sr. of Abiquiu; very close friend, Cecilia M. Garcia of Española; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 31st, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 1st, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Burial will follow at the Abiquiu Cemetery.
