Noberta & Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad. Since I left Toas, I'd depend on my parents to keep my informed of how my friends were doing. Now that they've moved to Rio Rancho, I have nobody left in Taos. I just happened to get on-line cause my sister-in-law's grandma passed away and noticed the name of your dad. I am so deeply sorry. We have lost touch but I will always remember growing up and going to spend the night at your house and visiting with your parents. I know you all miss him and I pray that you are all doing well knowing that you all have special memories with your dad. I know I still remember him like it was yesterday. All my love to you all and God Bless You.

My Uncle Norbert was one of the greatest men I'll ever know. He always made us feel welcome. He made it very clear how much we meant to him and for that I will always be greatful. We had many fun times. My childhood was filled with summers in Arroyo Hondo with Uncle Norbert. He was one of a kind. He was down to earth and yet he had a way about him that made you realize that you were in the presence of greatness. He made it very clear that family was the most important thing in his life and that is the way that he lived his life. His family was always around him and you could feel the love even before you walked into the room. He had that look about him. Sometimes you weren't sure if he was mad or if he was getting ready to tell you something funny. Either way, you always knew it was the truth. He never wasted words or life. He lives his life to the fullest and I admired him. He was a strong, sensible man and he made you feel like you were special. He went out of his way to make you feel at home. I truly loved him and I will miss him for the rest of my life. Thanks Uncle Norbert for all the memories.
