Biography


PETE TRUJILLO Age 79 of Espanola passed away on Monday May 15, 2006 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on November 4, 1927 to the late Atanacio and Frances Trujillo. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters Olympia Whipple and Erma Ariano, his brother Manuel Trujillo and sisters in law; Amelia S. Quintana and Anna Lujan and brother in law Rudolph Sisneros. He is survived by his loving wife Lena S. Trujillo, sons; Ron Trujillo of Missouri and Al Trujillo of Pueblo, CO., daughters; Audrey Butler of Oregon and Barbara Nadeau of Pueblo, CO., brothers; Ben Trujillo of Pueblo, CO., and Evan Trujillo of Denver,CO., sisters; Casilda Maes, Ruby Olivas, Theresa Tarin and JoAnn Trujillo all of Denver, CO. sisters in law Eloisa Martinez of Espanola and Dorila Swindle of Van Buren, Arkansas as well as many other relatives. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 25th, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 26th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with Father Augutin Moore officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Pete Trujillo has placed their trust in the Rivera family of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Dad,

Time has flown and we spent so little of it together. I wish things could have been better for us and that we could have been closer.

Hopefully, the Lord will help us heal and we can spend another cherished day fishing the Rito Seco...just as we did when I was your small son.

We missed so many opporunities to tell each other how much we loved one another.
