Prescilla "Chilla" Sena

Age 59, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went to be with our LORD on February 3, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She was last employed in Medical Records for the Penitentiary of NM. Chilla faced her illness with grace and dignity until the very end, always there for her family who she lived for and loved with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel "Tules" Sena; son, Martin Sena, parents, Martin and Lala Vigil; In-laws, Ramon and Sofia Sena; and Paul Mascarenas, sister-in-law, Priscilla Sena, and brother-in-law, Joe Sena.

She is survived by her fiancé, Ronald Mascarenas, daughter Vanessa Miller (George) and son, Joseph Sena (Anita). Grandchildren, Renee Miller, Makayla Sena, James, Desiree, Roseanne, and Mallory. Stepchildren, Donald Sena, Manuel Sena, Jr., Annette Lucero and Ron Mascarenas, Jr. Aunts; Lucy Romero (Bennie) and Mabel Moya. In-laws; Viola Mascarenas, Sophie Leyba, Gertrude Lucero (Paul), Juanita Baca (Max), Lydia Leyba Janice Maes, Paula Roybal (Eddie), Valerie Gallegos (Brian), Ramon Sena (Pat), Tony Sena (Sharon), Dave Leyba (Maria); goddaughters, Debbie Campa and Linda Leyba; special nephew, Ricardo Sena and special niece Yolanda Ramos and many other extended family members.

Rosary will be recited at 7pm at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Thursday February 7, 2008 and a funeral mass will be celebrated Friday February 8, 2008 at 11am also at St. Anne's Church. Inurnment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pallbearers are George Miller and Ron Mascarenas, Jr.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kubica, The Santa Fe Cancer Center, and the Hospice Nurses who assisted in Prescilla's last days. Thank You also to those who expressed their condolences, prayers and brought food at this time. We love you all.
