Biography
Ricky E. Martinez, 47, a resident of Chimayo, passed away, January 7, 2018.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother Mariquita Martinez, brothers, Escolastico and Leroy Martinez, nephew Anthony Martinez, sister In-Law Theresa Martinez. Grandparents Proxcedes & Onofre Martinez, Esqupula & Teresita Martinez of Chimayo, mother of his kids Lori Ann Gallegos.
He is survived by his father Orlando T. Martinez, children Ricky Jr. and Rosie Ann Martinez, sisters Orlinda Martinez (Rocky), Lorraine (Ronald) Martinez, and Darlene (Johnny) Trujillo, brother Jerry Martinez. Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Ricky was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ricky had many friends, he always had a smile on his face, got along with everyone, and welcomed everyone.
Serving as Pallbears are Shaun Martinez, Ronald Martinez, Andres Martinez, Joseph Trujillo, Nicolas Griego and Matthew Vigil.
A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am, Mass to follow at 10:00 am on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Chimayo Holy Family Church, burial followed at the Nuesta Senora de Dolores cematory in Chimayo NM.
