Biography


Ron I. Gonzales, 56, of Santa Fe, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Santa Fe. Ron was born October 9, 1951 in Santa Fe the son of Margarito Gonzales and Yvonne Gonzales-Romero.
He attended Public schools in Santa Fe and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1971. In his early years he worked in Los Alamos as a cabinet maker. He later began City Different Janitorial service which he still owned and operated. He primarily provided janitorial service to financial institutions.
He is preceded in death by his father Margarito Gonzales and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother Yvonne Gonzales-Romero, his loving wife of 15 years Cynthia M. (Dings) Gonzales, three daughters; Michael Gonzales, Adrianne Gonzales, both of California, and Meandy Bishop and husband Michael of Pecos, NM, 5 grandchildren; Byron, Becky, Xavier, Benjamin, and Brittney. He is also survived by 5 siblings; Delfiño (Cubby) Gonzales and wife Connie of Montrose, Colorado, Edwin Gonzales and wife Hazel of Santa Fe, NM , Peggy Gothuey and husband Gaston of Montrose, Colorado, Margaret (Anita) Gonzales and husband Rudy of Rio Rancho, NM, and David Gonzales and fiancée Paula Harris of Santa Fe. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4 Mutt Nelson, Santa Fe, NM.
