Ruben Cordova

Ruben Norberto Cordova, 83, of Cañon passed away on April 18, 2018. He worked at Kit Carson Electric Cooperative for 35 years. He was a cattle rancher. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and loved animals. He loved to dance, going to the casino and travel the world. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo “Willie” Cordova and Josephine Cordova, Amalia Casados, brother, Daniel Cordova, sister, Fabiola Garcia, in laws, Patricio and Beatrice Romero, brothers in law, Eugene Sanchez, Ben Garcia and Rudy Sanchez, sisters in-law, Vi Cordova and Patsy Fresquez. He is survived by the love of his life, Lillian Cordova, his wife of 57 years, children, Anthony Ruben Cordova (Veronica), Matthew Cordova (Carol), Christina Cordova and Mike Cordova (Terri), grandchildren, Dominic, Isaac, Joshua Cordova, Samantha, Tommy, Robert Ross Romero, Rachel Romero, Ronnie Romero, Josh, Quinn and Kyle Cordova, great grandchildren, Jason and Maye Montoya, Isaiah Ruben Cordova, Xavier Sanchez, Jazzmin and Jayden Villa, sisters and brothers, Cora Sanchez, Francis Cordova (Ernestine), Arsenio Cordova (Kathy), Fernando Cordova (Bernice) and Maria Elena Mirabal (Randy), sister in law, Libby Cordova, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10 AM At Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at the Dolores Cemetery in Cañon.
