Mr Martinez was my biggest influence in all my life... He was the first one to believe in Little richard and myself. Mr. Martinez had a hand in changing the world through all his great visions for the community of Taos. I will continue to keep you and the fanily in my prayers.

My deep condolences to the family. Coach Martinez was a truly outstanding individual, he gave a lot to the community and as I made my way to high school, he was always a wise and helpful presence on the athletic fields of our community, he truly appreciate all that gave and he will be missed

I remember Tom from my days in highschool in the early 60's. He smiled and laughed a lot. I didn't know him well but his smile and laughter are unforgetable. Que descanse en Paz. Lo vamos a alcanzar.

Mrs. Martinez, David & Deborah and family, I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Martinez's death. My deepest simpathy to your family! I will always remember Mr. Martinez as a wonderful person. He will be truly missed by all!

It was an honor and privilege to know Tom as a grandfather, father and coach. I know he'll be at the state track meet this Friday to cheer on the Taos Tiger relay teams in their effort to gain entry to the finals on Saturday as you know he never missed a state meet!!! I saw him two weeks ago at the Taos Relays and was always glad to see him!! I will miss seeing him at the games but I know he's there!! May God bless each of you with peace and comfort in the days ahead!!

From my earliest days in the Taos School system, Mr. Martinez was always there. I grew up with him in my school years. He was a good coach and leader. It was always reassuring to know he was on the field or court with you. I remember him very fondly. Rest in peace, Mr. Martinez...
