My sympathy and condolences to all the Chacon family. I just learned of his passing two days ago from Tony.
Tomas was my student in 1971 and he always reminded me that seven times eight was fifty-six. I remember a man who always had a wry smile and I will miss it. His tribute video brings back memories of Tomas and I thank the family for putting it together.
May he rest in peace.

Gramps i miss you everyday you were always there for me when i needed you when my dad passed you helped me more then anyone would ever know i miss working on my truck with your help and just you calling me to see how my day was going you always found time to help me at my ranch with the horses fixing the barn and just anything than needed to be done you were the one that pushed me to get the stuff done there that needed to be done ill never forget what you tought me in the time we had together and ill be sure not to let it stop with me ill teach you great grand kids what you tought you were the most humble and kind person i ever knew ill never forget you love youi know you are up there with my pops drinking a cold one for me saying get to work domo we might be gone but now you need to finish what we started you were like a father to me too i love you
