Biography


Tonita "Ova" Naranjo – Age 67 a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Domingo Naranjo; and mother, Sara Naranjo. She is survived by her husband, Fidel Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo; children: Fidel E. Naranjo, Jr., Priscilla Naranjo, Yvonne Naranjo, Maxine Naranjo, Danny Naranjo and Anthony Naranjo all of Santa Clara Pueblo; brother: Santiago Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo; sister, Frances Herrera of California; sponsor for her marriage, Helen Padilla of Santa Clara Pueblo; mother-in-law, Madeline Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo; sister-in-law, Frances Naranjo and family of Santa Clara Pueblo; brother-in-law, Joseph L. Naranjo and family of Albuquerque; and numerous other relatives and friends. A wake service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at her mother-in-law's residence in Santa Clara Pueblo. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara Pueblo Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery.
