Valeria Ruiz – Age 81 a resident of Pecos passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents: Merigildo and Angelita Roybal; sister, Pina Ruiz. She is survived by her son, Anthony Roybal of Pecos; daughter, Janet Varela of Pecos; grandchildren: Agapito Maes and Valerie Valdez both of Albuquerque, Melissa Tucker of Pecos and Tony Roybal of Cortez; great-grandchildren: Bryan Maes of Cortez, Glenn and Jenevieve Giron both of Santa Fe, Evangelina Romero, Jayline Romero and Benjamina and Jasmine Quintana all of Pecos; brothers and sisters: Piedad Rarick, Virginia Baca and husband David, Mike Roybal and wife Jane and family, Richard Roybal and wife Cathy, Freddy Roybal, Brenda Tafoya and husband Gil and Nito Ferros and wife Diana; brother-in-law, Pete Ruiz; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Santa Fe. A graveside devotional service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe.
